School shootings continue to be a tragic and persistent issue in the United States. Protecting Our Students (POS) is committed to ending this crisis through education, advocacy, and community outreach. We supply iPads with proprietary safety assessment software to K-12 schools, which is used as a communication, research, and data analysis tool in K-12 schools.
Each iPad comes pre-installed with our AI evaluation app, available in the App Store. This app features our School Safety Assessment (SSA) tool, “POSSafetyNet℠,” which evaluates a school’s strengths and weaknesses regarding active shooter prevention. The app evaluates school buildings’ interior and exterior grounds vulnerabilities and highlights areas for improvement. Additionally, the app provides recommendations for essential safety enhancements via dashboard reports to protect students, staff, and faculty.
